Well I had a little too much fun at my Singles Ward Halloween Party and busted my knee dancing to Thiller. I ended up having to have surgery last Tuesday. The Doc did a scope to get all the damaged gunk out from behind my knee cap out, then he did a open faulkerson...ew...he did a Patella realignment and there is a now a huge 6 in incision in my leg. I'm super bruised and swollen. I really hope it heals well. I have to wear a brace for 1 more week, and crutches for 3 more weeks. No fun!!
I got really lucky with working for American Express. They have been amazing. After only working there 5 weeks they gave me a whole week off from work to recover, and when I went back today I was in so much pain they let me go home early.
