Trip of a lifetime

Heavenly Father has handed many awesome blessings the past little while. For 1 I was able to go on a trip with my Singles ward to Nauvoo for some church history sites. It was amazing. We started the week by a super long bus ride and making stops along the way. By the end of the week I had learned so much about myself, gained a ton of new friends, and had some awesome spiritual experiences that I will never forget. God has truely blessed me in life and I will be forever grateful. I have a whole new perspective on life and a positive outlook and a realization that anything is possible. I love you all and hope one day, if you already haven't, have the chance to go to Adam-ondi-ohmon, Far West, Liberty Jail, Carthage Jail, and Nauvoo. It's amazing and the feeling you get while you are there will be life changing!!

Tulip Festival

Today was SO beautiful. My Mom and I took Olive to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point. It was so pretty. I enjoyed every second of it. Here are some pictures from today. Enjoy!

So I've been taking a photography class this semester. I'm really enjoying it. So I thought I'd post some of the images I've taken. They're nothing like my sis in law Lindseys pictures!! She's awesome! Anyway here they are!

1 Year Ago

So tonight at 11:59pm it will be the exact moment 1 year ago I was in my car accident. So I thought I'd repost my blog post from that night.


So I was in a really bad car accident tonight while driving home from work. I was driving along and I was getting ready to switch lanes when a car pulled infront of me and I'm pretty they hit me and that's why I lost control. I hit a car and made it flip, than I went swerving over 3 lanes, hit the barrier wall and was tboned by another car on the passanger side. The people in the car that flipped were fine and everyone else was to. I was injured the worst and was the only one taken to the hospital by ambulance. I'm fine though. I'm sore and I have a 2nd degree burn on my right forearm...my whole forearm, it's big! Ouch! I have cuts and bruises, but I'll be sore tomorrow! My car it a goner though.The weird thing about all this is that for the past 2 months I've been telling my Mom I was going to get in a car accident. I could just feel it in my bones that it was going to happen! I didn't know when, I just felt it. When my Mom got to the ER she goes "so your premonission came true". Crazy!It just makes me thankful to be alive! I overheard the paramedic say that it's a miracle nobody was killed. I am lucky! I think I just had a life changing experience!! Seriously! Nothing will be taken for granted anymore!!

Prayer

I'm just sitting here thinking about things in my life I have no control over. I wish I could make all the bad things go away in the lives of the people I love. For instance, addiction, I wish I had a magic wand that I could just make it go away. It breaks my heart seeing it and not being able to help. I try my best to just be there, but sometimes it's not enough. So I ask all you who read this to please pray for these people, and for me.
